It’s a well-known fact the Pittsburgh Steelers, especially Ben Roethlisberger, are a completely different and better team at Heinz Field than on the road.

The Steelers and their franchise quarterback play with a swagger and confidence at Heinz Field which doesn’t always show itself when they’re the visiting team. This could be why the early line for the Week 2 game vs. the Minnesota Vikings has the Steelers as favorites.

Depending on the sports book you’re checking, the Steelers might be favored by as many as six points or as few as 4.5. Considering the home team usually is given a 3-point advantage, Vegas sees this as a close competition, but with the Steelers slightly ahead.

The opening line for the game had the Steelers at -4.5-points, but some sports books, like, have the Steelers as touchdown favorites. You can see more of the most current lines, which fluctuate constantly due to player injuries, etc., right HERE.

What might be most compelling about this line is the contrasting performances of each team in Week 1. The Steelers stumbled their way past the Browns, while the Vikings dominated the Saints on Monday Night Football.

Nevertheless, Vegas is going with potential, and the Steelers are brimming with that quality, especially on offense. On Sunday, it’ll be stout offense vs. stout defense, with the tough Vikings defense aiming to shut down Big Ben and the boys.

So, if you’re a bettor and you like some of the above odds, you might want to head to the window soon before the line changes again.
