The Pittsburgh Steelers are preparing for the Baltimore Ravens on a short week, and the team’s injury report has been unique after two days of practice.
The first injury report was fairly predictable for the Steelers, but the Thursday injury report had some big-name additions. The most notable was Antonio Brown being back on the report as he did not participate with the toe injury which hampered him leading up to the Week-13 game vs. the Bengals. Also added to the list was linebacker T.J. Watt as a limited participant with a knee ailment.
Other than those two additions, the report is the same as the Wednesday report, and this is a good thing. Mike Mitchell and Vance McDonald, both coming off ankle injuries, got through the first day of practice without a setback, and look like they are set to return to the lineup.
For those concerned about Brown’s toe injury, this is the same exact pattern the team followed leading up to the Week 13 game. Brown practiced fully on Thursday, and missed Friday and Saturday before playing on Monday. This week, Brown was a full participant Wednesday, and missed Thursday’s practice.
Stay tuned to BTSC for the latest injury news, and be sure to check out the Ravens’ injury report below leading up to the Sunday night divisional matchup.
