When most fans of the Pittsburgh Steelers thought the team was going to simply sit back and not fill holes in their roster, simply waiting for the NFL Draft to do so, the team continues to host free agent players who could help provide depth and experience to the roster.
On the same day it was reported the team is bringing in Tyson Alualu for a visit, the team is also hosting a pair of free agent prospects. The prospects are former Kansas City Chiefs running back Knile Davis and New York Giants cornerback Coty Sensabaugh.
Free agent visitors today: CB Coty Sensabaugh, RB Knile Davis

Fans should be happy the team is looking at two positions which could desperately need depth.
At running back, after Le’Veon Bell there is only Fitzgerald Toussaint who has any NFL experience. Davis would provide a versatile threat in the backfield with plenty of experience under his belt. Davis has a feather in his cap most running backs don’t have, and that is the ability to also double as a kick returner. Davis has two kickoff return touchdowns on his resume since being drafted in 2013.
Other than in the return game, Davis is a dual threat back who is capable of carrying the ball, as well as catching the ball out of the backfield. Something which is a necessity in Todd Haley’s offense.
As for Sensabaugh, he was drafted by the Tennessee Titans before playing for the Ram and Giants last season. He started 15 games in 2015, but only started two last season in the 13 games he participated in.
Sensabaugh might not be the star-studded free agent fans expected, but he brings experience at a position of need.
