The Pittsburgh Steelers are looking closely at safeties in the upcoming 2018 NFL Draft, and Justin Reid of Stanford just might be the top player on their list. They have looked at several, but all reports out of the NFL Scouting Combine were just how impressive Reid was from every standpoint there is.
The kid can play, is smart and works hit tail off every time he is on the field. Some would call that the total package.
With this level of interest, combined with the team in desperate need of NFL ready talent at the safety position, it shouldn’t surprise anyone the Steelers are going to be hosting Reid for a pre-draft visit in a few short weeks.

Reid might be the Steelers’ top choice, when it comes to safeties, but they have done their diligence with several other safeties like Jessie Bates of Wake Forest and Tre Flowers of Oklahoma State. Nonetheless, there is very little doubt if the linebackers are off the board when the Steelers pick at No. 28, and Reid is available — he could be their guy.
