The Pittsburgh Steelers continue to ramp up for the 2018 NFL Draft, and they continue to bring in prospects to the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex to meet with the coaching staff and scouts for official pre-draft visits.
Their latest round of prospects remains to be nothing more than depth players. The big-name prospects will certainly be coming in between now and the big event, but the Steelers seem to be doing their homework on players who could go undrafted, or late round, selections.
Check out who came in most recently:
Draft visitors: DB Roderick Dawson from Florida; LB Joel Iyiegbuniwe from W. Ky; QB Brogan Roback from Eastern Michigan.— Bob Labriola (@BobLabriola) April 3, 2018
The official list of visitors:
CB Rederick (Duke) Dawson, Florida
LB Joel Iyiegbuniwe, Western Kentucky
QB Brogan Roback, Eastern Michigan
Combine these three with the visit of Penn State defensive lineman Curtis Cothran and the team has used 4 of their 30 pre-draft visits. As stated earlier, none of the players brought in on Tuesday are expected to be Day 1 or 2 players in the NFL Draft, and maybe not even Day 3 players.
Stay tuned to BTSC for the latest on these prospects, but also keep track of all the pre-draft visits by position with the BTSC Pre-Draft Visit Tracker.
