The Pittsburgh Steelers have already started their official pre-draft visits leading up to the 2018 NFL Draft, but they are still on the Pro Day tour checking out the final stops before coming back to headquarters prior to the big event.
The latest Pro Day Pittsburgh is present for is LSU. This isn’t just the team sending a position coach, or scout, to take notes and test a player. The teams brass of Kevin Colbert and Mike Tomlin are all present.
This per Andrew Groover of the Associated Press:
LSU’s Pro Day always draws a big crowd and today in no exception: Steelers HC Mike Tomlin, Steelers GM Kevin Colbert, Redskins team president Bruce Allen, Panthers GM Marty Hurney and Lions HC Matt Patricia all in attendance.

The biggest name fans will be talking about from this event will be running back Derrius Guice. Guice, who is expected to be gone well before the Steelers select at No. 28, has been a topic of conversation now for the past few weeks.
The Steelers have met with Guice, and are interested in his services. What does this mean for Le’Veon Bell? Would the Steelers consider trading up to get the team’s next running back?
All of these questions will be answered in due time, but they are certainly doing their diligence with Guice as a prospect.
