Plenty of Steelers show up in latest NFLPA Top 50 jersey sales

Believe it or not, Le’Veon Bell is still a hot jersey to buy...

NFL: Atlanta Falcons at Pittsburgh Steelers Philip G. Pavely-USA TODAY Sports

If you had to take a guess, without scrolling down, which members of the Pittsburgh Steelers are currently in the Top 50 NFL jerseys purchased, who would you guess?

I know for me, my Top 5 would be as follows (in no particular order):

Antonio Brown
Ben Roethlisberger
JuJu Smith-Schuster
T.J. Watt
James Conner

When the NFLPA released their Top 50 jersey sales, you could just paint me stupid when I found out the top Steelers were Antonio Brown, JuJu Smith-Schuster and Le’Veon Bell.

Check out the news from ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler:

What shocked me the most was Bell still being on the list. I mean, are people buying his Steelers jersey thinking there is a chance Bell remains with the Steelers? Are they just his rap entourage? Or are they just fans getting their heads on a collector’s item?

Other than that, I thought it was strange not to see Watt and/or Conner on the list, especially with the size of the Steelers’ fan base, along with the success both have seen this season.

With that said, it always brings up the premise of forking out that much money for a jersey. So many pony up the cash for jerseys every year, and I wonder what your criteria are for getting some new threads?

In the past we had our Jersey Rules article, and it might be time to dust those off...
