The Pittsburgh Steelers confirmed the news many had expected on Friday, ruling out Stephon Tuitt and Marcus Gilbert for the game against the Jacksonville Jaguars after both players missed every day of practice this week.

For Gilbert, this will be the fourth game in a row he has missed as he battles a knee injury and Matt Feiler will once again start in his place. Tuitt sits for the first time this season due to a hyperextended elbow and he will replaced in the lineup by Tyson Alualu. L.T. Walton is expected to see his first game action as his backup since Week 2 having spent the rest of the season on the inactive list on game day.
After Tuitt became a father to his second child on Friday, being forced to sit out this weekend might not actually be a bad thing for him and his family.
While James Conner might have been the biggest injury concern at the start of the week, it would appear he has shaken off the effects of the concussion he suffered in Week 10. Able to practice fully each day, there is little doubt Conner will play on Sunday. After missing the game against the Carolina Panthers, Daniel McCullers did not feature on the injury report at all this week and it appears he will be good to go against Jacksonville as well.
Although the Jaguars have only officially ruled out cornerback Quenton Meeks as of Friday, questions remain about four other players and there is a possibility they could be missing some key names from both the offensive and defensive lines in Week 11.
