The Pittsburgh Steelers offense has certainly taken a new shape since the beginning of the regular season.
What once was a disjointed unit searching for an identity, Randy Fichtner has gotten his group to not only play as one, but to lean on James Conner to develop balance.
Speaking of Conner, while many saw him as a great backup running back when he was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2017 NFL Draft, no one saw this coming.
Conner hasn’t just replaced Bell during his holdout, but has made fans forget about No. 26, and started thinking all about No. 30.
Everyone knows the statistics, but the details of how Conner and the rest of the offense work in unison is a completely different story.
The NFL Network’s Brian Baldinger broke down some of Conner’s key plays in Week 9 in his latest Twitter “Baldy Breakdown”.
Check out the breakdown below, and enjoy the high level of play Conner is producing on a weekly basis.
.@steelers @JamesConner with consistent ridiculous production and can do everything and anything that this offense needs. He is easily the #Steelers MVP through the first half of the season. #BaldysBreakdowns pic.twitter.com/0YQTl69kmq
