With two players ruled out on the Pittsburgh Steelers final injury report of the week on Wednesday, it should come as no surprise to learn that both Marcus Gilbert and Daniel McCullers find themselves on the inactives list for Week 10.
While McCullers will miss only his first game of the year with an ankle injury, Gilbert will miss his third consecutive game of the season due to a knee injury. As always, one man’s misfortune is another man’s gain as Matt Feiler starts in place Gilbert and L.T. Walton gets a rare chance to suit up with McCullers sidelined.
If there was a battle to be the fourth wide receiver on game day, it would appear that James Washington is currently winning that contest after Justin Hunter was the one listed among the inactives once again in Week 10. Mason Rudolph, Zach Banner, Brian Allen and Marcus Allen will fill their now familiar roles on game day, watching the game from the bench and supporting their teammates who are playing.
