NFL Odds and Predictions: Picking the full Week 13 slate of games against the spread

New, comment

We make our picks against the spread and versus the totals for every game on the NFL schedule in Week 13.

NFL: Indianapolis Colts at Pittsburgh Steelers Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

The Pittsburgh Steelers disappointed in Week 12 and so did our staff picks after Jeff Hartman went 6-6 against the spread and 4-8 versus the totals, while I was little better at 7-5 ATS and 6-6 versus the totals. Somehow, we both remain over .500 on the season and hope to still be that way after Week 13 with a full slate of games to pick now the last of the bye-weeks are over for the year.

Much like last Sunday, there are a number of large spreads available this weekend, with five games seperated by more than a touchdown. It is also a big week for road favorites as six home teams find themselves listed as undergods in front of their own fans, two by double digits.

December is the month the real contenders emerge from rest of the pretenders and teams like the Indianapolis Colts (-4) and Denver Broncos (-5) are among the teams who face must win encounters with beatable teams on Sunday. If they have genuine playoff ambitions in 2018, these are games they will need to win if they are to have a shot of making the postseason this year.

Selections have been made using the consensus Las Vegas odds from VegasInsider.com as of Saturday night and we encourage you to play along with us by adding your picks below.
