The Pittsburgh Steelers aren’t just hosting the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday Night Football in Week 13, the organization is celebrating anniversaries for the Super Bowl 13 team, as well as the Super Bowl 43 squad.
On Saturday night, the team hosted players from both teams, and to say there was a lot of greatness in one room would be a gigantic understatement.
For the latest team to bring a Lombardi trophy back to Pittsburgh, it was notable how James Harrison didn’t allow his departure from the team in 2017 to deter him from coming back and celebrating with his old teammates. However, from the looks of images on social media, it would seem Troy Polamalu did not return for this event.
Ben Roethlisberger is the only player on the current team who was a part of the Super Bowl 43 team, and he had said earlier in the week he planned on attending the events, but did say how it was strange considering he is still preparing for games while the rest of the guys are no longer playing.
