Trade Up for Derwin James, Change Sean Davis's role

Just a thought, would love to hear what you guys have to say so I leave this open ended. But say Derwin James falls out of the top 10 and he's there around pick 14. What if we trade up for him, select him, start him next Burnett at the safety spots, and have Davis patrol the defense like a Sua Cravens/Deonne Bucannon type role, and occasionally slide him in a CB in certain packages. My reasoning behind this is because I think Davis is a solid tackler when he puts a hit on but his coverage skills aren't very solid so that could be a way to help him reach his potential on defense. I think taking James would be a solid pick and give us a star in the secondary. Taking Safety round one, means going to the MLB group for round two, and some options might still be available (Darius Leonard, Josey Jewell, Oren Burks, Tre' Williams, Shaun Dion Hamilton).

But this is just my updated thoughts on improving the defense, I think it'd be a cool experiment for Sean Davis. Let me know what you think below.
