The Pittsburgh Steelers concluded their 2018 NFL Draft with 7 new players. If you missed any of those new prospects, they are below:
Round 1 - Terrell Edmunds, S, Virginia Tech
Round 2 - James Washington, WR, Oklahoma State
Round 3 - Mason Rudolph, QB, OklahomaState
Round 3 - Chukwuma Okorafor, OT, Western Michigan
Round 5 - Marcus Allen, S, Penn State
Round 5 - Jaylen Samuels, RB, North Carolina State
Round 7 - Joshua Frazier, DT, Alabama
If you didn’t know any better, you would think the Steelers were more than set on the defensive side of the football, considering 4 of their 7 picks were on the offensive side of the football, but it couldn’t be further from the truth.
The fact is, if you had someone like Kevin Colbert and/or Mike Tomlin and had them be 100-percent truthful with you, and asked if they liked how the draft played out for them they would probably say no.
The team didn’t fill a huge hole at inside linebacker, or interior offensive line, but maybe they found a diamond in the rough with their Undrafted Free Agents (UDFAs). The team officially signed 13 new players to their 90-man offseason roster.
