The Pittsburgh Steelers are in the thick of their official pre-draft visits, and it should come as no surprise to anyone there have been a lot of defenders coming to the 412 area code.
The team hosted four players on Thursday, which doubled their previous total for visits in just one day. See who came into the team’s facility Thursday:

Official list of visitors:
Maryland LB Jermaine Carter
NC State DL BJ Hill
Texas ILB Malik Jefferson
North Carolina S Marvin Stewart
Carter, a versatile linebacker for the Terps, had this visit scheduled for a while now, and is projected to be a late round pick, if he is drafted at all. His NFL Draft Profile has him listed as a ‘Priority Free Agent’.
The biggest name to visit the team to date is by far Texas linebacker Malik Jefferson. Jefferson is projected to be a Day 2 pick, more specifically the 3rd round. There were rumors Jefferson met with the Steelers at the NFL Scouting Combine, but those rumors turned out to be false.
As for Hill, he is projected to be a 4th or 5th round pick, but has tremendous upside to his game along the defensive line. Stewart, a strong defensive back being compared to Mikah Hyde, is considered a Day 2 prospect.
