Steelers still the predominant favorites to win the AFC North in 2018

The Pittsburgh Steelers did something in 2017 which is extremely rare for them, and in the AFC North. They swept the division. That’s right, in case you forgot the Steelers were a perfect 6-0 against the Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Browns in their regular season meetings last season.

Another interesting fact for you is how it was only the second time in Ben Roethlisberger’s lengthy career he has accomplished such a feat.

While we are spewing out interesting facts, it should also be worth noting no team has ever won the AFC North division three years in a row since the NFL realigned the divisions. Gone were the glory days of the AFC Central, and in came the black eyed brawls of the AFC North.

It has never been done before, but can the Steelers be the first team in AFC North history to win the division three times in a row? This will certainly be debated among the fan base, as well as the Ravens, Bengals and Browns’ fan bases as well; however, when it comes to Las Vegas — they like the Steelers to pull it off.

According to the Bovada Sports Book, the Steelers are the predominant favorites to take home some divisional hardware after the 2018 regular season is all said and done.
