There is no denying just how bad the Pittsburgh Steelers’ performance was vs. the Green Bay Packers in Week 2 of the NFL Preseason.
It was awful.
But on a night when the defense surrendered over 50-points for the first time in a preseason game of the Super Bowl era, and the offense contributed 14 of those 51-points allowed due to interceptions returned for touchdowns, all was not lost.
After the game, as media members shuffled their way to the locker room to hear from Mike Tomlin, James Washington and other players, a video put out by the Steelers’ official Twitter page did more than lift a few spirits.
That video was none other than Ryan Shazier, who has traveled with the team the past two weeks, walking off the field.
We’ve seen this before, but not like this. No cane. No assistance, and a gait which looks phenomenal compared to where he was during the 2018 NFL Draft when announcing the Steelers’ top pick.
Check it out:
You continue to inspire us, @RyanShazier. #SHALIEVE pic.twitter.com/QpPvlmfrbQ

Yes, the Steelers lost a meaningless preseason game, and they looked horrific in their efforts, but this sure does make things a little brighter the day after such a dreary defeat.
Keep SHALIEVING!!
