While the Pittsburgh Steelers will rest a handful of veteran players carrying injuries against the Tennessee Titans on Saturday afternoon, all healthy starters are expected to receive more snaps in this game than most have seen all preseason. Although playing time will be limited for the younger players in the first half, fans should see a lot of unfamiliar numbers on the field for the Black and Gold after halftime.
After some of the returning veteran names in the secondary opted for new numbers this offseason, there are changes to be aware of this year with Joe Haden, Sean Davis and Mike Hilton all sporting a different look in 2018. For those struggling to keep up with all of the new shirt numbers, our updated roster list should help you keep track of who’s who.
Not every jersey number is exclusive to just one player and there a handful of names who will be carrying the same number on offense and defense in preseason. Running back James Conner and defensive back Jamar Summers will both wear number 30, while Parker Cothern and Larson Graham are both wearing number 61 for example.

Before you rush out to buy the jersey of your favorite undrafted rookie free agent, you might want to wait a few more weeks until the 53-man roster has been decided to see if they keep that number, let alone make the team. The final round of cuts if sure to free up a few more jerseys and it would be a surprise if there were not a few more number changes before the regular season begins.
