The Pittsburgh Steelers were coming off of their annual Friday Night Lights practice, and then turned around for their usual 2:55 p.m. EDT practice. With the Friday night practice being one of the more physical practices of the preseason, the team opted not to have another padded practice.
So, as the players donned the shells, BTSC was represented at training camp for the first time in 2018. One of our social media coordinators was in the stands and got some great footage from practice.
Check out the videos below, and be sure to comment on the quality of football you see in the videos. After all, this was the practice where the coaching staff decided to debut the two-minute drill. Watch Mason Rudolph, Joshua Dobbs and Ben Roethlisberger try and work their magic, and watch Trey Griffey and James Washington bring down some tremendous touchdown passes.
