With 90 minutes until kick off, assuming the weather does not delay the start of the game, the Pittsburgh Steelers have officially released their list of seven inactive players for Week 3, and as was always expected, injuries have dictated some of the inclusions.
David DeCastro misses his second straight game of the year with a fractured hand, while a hamstring Marcus Gilbert will sideline the right tackle for the first time in 2018. B.J. Finney is expected to start in place of DeCastro and Matt Feiler will replace Gilbert in the lineup, while Zach Banner gets a rare chance to dress on game day.
Morgan Burnett was the third player declared doubtful for the game on Saturday and just like DeCastro and Gilbert, his injury has not healed sufficiently to allow him to play. A combination of Terrell Edmunds and Nat Berhe will see snaps in his absence.
With Tyson Alualu cleared to return to action, L.T. Walton finds himself inactive once again just as in Week 1 and Justin Hunter sits for his second game. For Mason Rudolph and Marcus Allen, it is a typical game day for them watching from the bench with both players still waiting to dress for their first game as professionals.
