After picking up their first win of the 2019 season, the Steelers have their second straight AFC North matchup at Heinz Field when they host the Baltimore Ravens at 1 PM Sunday. Coming off their 24-point victory Monday night against the Cincinnati Bengals, the lines moved slightly in the Steelers favor from what they had been before they took the field. While the decisive victory was exactly what the Steelers needed, it will take another solid performance against a more formidable opponent before the Las Vegas odds-makers get completely on board with the Steelers making a splash in the AFC North.

When it comes to the betting lines for Sunday’s game, the following information is the current consensus spread and over/under for the Steelers this week as reported by oddsshark.com.

Game Info: Week 5

Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Baltimore Ravens

Sunday, October 6, 2019 at 1:00 PM

Betting line: +3.5

Over/under: 43.5

Last Regular Season Meeting: Steelers (W) 23-16 vs Ravens

Win streak: 1 games PIT

Last 3 Meetings: PIT 2 - 1 BAL

Last 10 Meetings: PIT 5 - 5 BAL

The opening line on the game was -3 when the schedule was released in April. With Baltimore starting off hot at 2-0 with wins against the Dolphins and Cardinals, They have since dropped two straight games to the Chiefs and Browns. With the Steelers slow start of 0-3 until they got their first win against the Bengals, the line moved heavily in the direction of the Ravens. Of course Ben Roethlisberger’s injury is a big factor when determining the current odds.

Being the underdog on Sunday, the Steelers have a current moneyline of +160 to win the game straight up, which is the equivalent of about 8/5 odds. So a $20 bet placed on the Steelers over the Ravens would have a payout of $52 ($32 plus the original $20 bet). The Ravens have a current moneyline of -180, or 5/9 odds. Therefore the same $20 bet placed on Baltimore to win straight up would have a payout of $31.11 ($11.11 pus the original $20 bet) .

According to Oddsshark.com, the Steelers are 7-2 straight up in their last nine games at home and are 6-0 against the spread in their last six games in October. The Steelers also are 15-1-1 straight up in their last 17 games against the AFC North and the total has gone UNDER in six of Pittsburgh’s last eight games against the Ravens.

If looking at the futures bets, the Steelers odds to win the Super Bowl vary from 80/1 to 300/1. They also have varying odds to win the AFC Championship from 40/1 odds to 105/1. As for winning the AFC North, the Steelers are at 9/1 odds and they are projected to place third the AFC North. Both Baltimore and Cleveland have better odds to win the division while Cincinnati is still the biggest long shot to win the AFC North at 20/1.
