Before leaving the game, Tuitt delivered a hit on Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers which caused Rivers to have some attention from the athletic trainers.
On the season, Tuitt has 22 tackles with 3.5 sacks and six quarterback hits coming into Week 6. In his six years with the Steelers, Tuitt has over 200 tackles and 23.5 sacks. Unfortunately, Tuitt has not had a season in which he hasn’t missed a game since his rookie season in 2014.
In Tuitt’s absence, Tyson Alualu was able to deflect a ball which was intercepted by Devin Bush.
