The Pittsburgh Steelers are a banged up football team after Week 6, and their Week 7 bye week couldn’t come at a better time. Following the Steelers’ 24-17 win over the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday Night Football, the team is able to rest some of their wounds before preparing for the Miami Dolphins in Week 8 at Heinz Field.

As for in-game injuries, there were several big names listed by Mike Tomlin in his post-game press conference.

Stephon Tuitt left the game, and did not return, with a pectoral injury.

Joe Haden left as well, and did not return, with a groin injury.

And James Conner was removed from the game with a quadriceps injury.

Mike Tomlin said all players will be further evaluated, although Tuitt’s injury is considered to be the most significant of all those which happened during the Week 6 Sunday Night Football game. It should be noted how Devin Bush tweaked an ankle during the game, but was able to return to action after halftime,

There are other injuries which will benefit from the week off, and some of those injuries would be:

JuJu Smith-Schuster (toe)
Vance McDonald (shoulder)
Mike Hilton (foot)
Mason Rudolph (concussion)
Roosevelt Nix (knee)
Jaylen Samuels (knee)
James Washington (shoulder)

The list is long, and the week off will do wonders for those who are nursing their injuries back to health. In case you missed the Mike Tomlin post-game press conference, you can watch it all in the video player below.
