If you are looking for a nickname for Pittsburgh Steelers rookie Devin Bush, NFL Network analyst Brian Baldinger might have just provided one for the vast Steelers fan base.
The Cobra.
In his latest breakdown on his verified Twitter account, he focused on Bush’s play vs. the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 6 on Sunday Night Football.
Check out his breakdown of “The Cobra” below:
.@steelers @_Dbush11 plays like a Cobra. These #Steelers ain’t done yet. Not as long as they are taking the ball away in record numbers giving extra at bats at whoever is playing QB. This Cobra is electric and I can’t wait to watch #55 play v @MiamiDolphins #BaldysBreakdowns pic.twitter.com/aORyAh2100

Bush’s play vs. the Chargers was certainly something to behold. He led the team in tackles, recovered a fumble and ran it into the endzone for a touchdown, and was able to corral a tipped Philip Rivers pass for an interception.
Talk about a phenomenal game.
The latest evidence of Bush’s potential was on full display, and as Baldinger states in his breakdown, he is only going to get better. While Bush’s name should be a prominent on in the Defensive Rookie of the Year discussion, his overarching potential is as enticing as it comes.
What is next for Devin Bush and the Steelers? After their bye in Week 7 they will host the Miami Dolphins at Heinz Field on Monday Night Football in Week 8. At 2-4 the Steelers are desperately in need of stacking wins and gaining some momentum as they hope to turn their season around and climbing out of the hole they’ve dug for themselves.
