BTSC’s Jeff Hartman and Dave Schofield pick all remaining NFL games both against the spread and over/under point totals

After Week 7 of the NFL season, Steelers’ fans are ready to get back to the typical NFL weekend which involves the Steelers playing a game at some point. Unfortunately, the wait is prolonged even more with the Steelers not taking the field until Monday night against the Miami Dolphins. Looking to get on a big win streak off of the bye, the Steelers must win their first game before anything else and are favored by two touchdowns.

Looking around the league, there are still only two teams who remain unbeaten on the season. Both the San Francisco 49ers and the New England Patriots return home for Week 8 as the Patriots are heavily favored hosting the Browns while the 49ers take on the 4-2 Panthers. The only winless teams in the NFL are the Dolphins and Cincinnati Bengals who are both double-digit underdogs on the road.

For the 2019 NFL season, both Jeff Hartman and myself will be picking every game (except Thursdays) against the spread and the over/under point totals. Please remember we are not experts on betting or any kind of sports gamblers. We are just a couple of Steelers’ fans saying who we think will come through each week.

Last week, Jeff and I both finished up fairly average in some areas as I was 6-7 against the spread but managed to go 9-4 in the over/under. Jeff was sightly better against the spread at 7-6 and was just behind me in the over/under at 8-5. On the season, Jeff has the overall best record of any kind, which happens to be in the over/under category at 52-45-2. I finally eclipsed the .500 mark for the over/under and am still just shy of the mark against the spread.

So here are the picks for the 14 games this Sunday and Monday for Week 8 of the NFL season. Please feel free to list your choices in the comment section below and play along!
