The Pittsburgh Steelers have released their inactives against the Miami Dolphins. With no players ruled out before the game, the list is made up five of healthy scratches and two players who were questionable.

With players who missed the Week 6 game against the Chargers returning to action, new addition QB Paxton Lynch is inactive. Running back Trey Edmunds is active as Jaylen Samuels will need another week before he returns from his knee surgery.

Other players filling up inactive list are rookies CB Justin Lane and TE Zach Gentry. Second-year player OL Chukwuma Okorafor is also back on the inactive list. Layne has been active the last several weeks, but has not seen one snap on defense on the season. It was unclear whether the Steelers would have a Isaiah Buggs on the depth chart ahead of the newly signed L.T. Walton or if Walton’s previous four years with the Steelers will earn him a helmet for Monday’s game. For this week, the Steelers have gone with Biggs as Walton is an active.

The final inactive spot goes to LB Ulysees Gilbert III. Practicing limited on Saturday with a back injury, it is unclear as to the extent of Gilbert’s injury and if he will need additional time beyond Week 8.

As for the Dolphins, their inactives can be seen below.
