After a rusty start coming out of the bye, the Steelers settled in for a Week 8 win over the Miami Dolphins on Monday Night Football. With 15 days in between their previous two games, the Steelers now have only six to prepare for the Indianapolis Colts. With such a quick turnaround after playing on Monday, the oddsmakers had some catching up to do when it came to projecting the Steelers chances for Week 9 as the they weren’t originally favored before their latest win. Regardless, the Steelers have won two games in a row and are looking to stack another win by once again playing in front of their home crowd at Heinz Field.

When it comes to the betting lines for Sunday’s game, the following information is the current consensus spread and over/under for the Steelers this week as reported by oddsshark.com.

Game Info: Week 9

Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Indianapolis Colts

Sunday, November 3, 2019 at 1:00 PM

Betting line: -1

Over/under: 42.5

Last Regular Season Meeting: Steelers (W) 20-17 vs Colts

Win streak: 5 games PIT

Last 3 Meetings: PIT 3 - 0 IND

Last 10 Meetings: PIT 8 - 2 IND

The opening line on the game was -2.5 when the schedule was released in April. With both teams now operating with a different quarterback for the season than who was expected six months ago, the Colts have still managed to a 5-2 record. Although they lead the AFC South, Indianapolis is still a bit of a mystery as they have lost games to the Los Angeles Chargers and Oakland Raiders while managing to to defeat the Kansas City Chiefs and Houston Texans.

Being the slight favorite on Sunday, the Steelers have a current moneyline of -115 to win the game straight up, which is the equivalent of about 20/23 odds. So a $20 bet placed on the Steelers over the Colts would have a payout of $37.39 ($17.39 plus the original $20 bet). The Colts have a current moneyline of -105, or 20/21 odds. Therefore the same $20 bet placed on Indianapolis to win straight up would have a payout of $39.03 ($19.03 pus the original $20 bet) .

According to Oddsshark.com, the Steelers are 7-3 straight up in their last 10 games at home and are 14-1 straight up in their last 15 games at home against the Colts. The Steelers also have gone UNDER is four of their last five games, but the total has gone OVER in four of Pittsburgh’s last six games against Indy.

If looking at the futures bets, the Steelers odds to win the Super Bowl vary from 30/1 to 90/1. They also have varying odds to win the AFC Championship from 16/1 odds to 35/1. As for winning the AFC North, the Steelers are at 9/2 odds and they are projected to place second the AFC North. Baltimore has better odds to win the division at 1/4 while Cincinnati is still the biggest long shot to win the AFC North at 5000/1.
