Steelers running back James Conner and wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster have been taken to the locker room during the second quarter of Thursday’s game with the Cleveland Browns.

Conner had missed the last two games with a shoulder injury and admitted prior to the game he was not 100%. Before leaving the game, Conner had 10 rushing yards on five carries along with one reception for 6 yards.

As for JuJu Smith-Schuster, he has been ruled out of the game with a concussion.

Before leaving the game, Smith-Schuster had two catches for 21 yards. On the play where Smith-Schuster was injured, he took a helmet-to-helmet shot which was not flagged. On the same play, the Browns were called for roughing the passer on Mason Rudolph as he took a shot to the helmet as well.

UPDATE: Four Steelers have been ruled out for the remainder of the game. They are JuJu Smith-Schuster, James Conner, Olasunkanmi Adeniyi, and Artie Burns.

UPDATE: Diontae Johnson has been ruled out in the third quarter with a concussion. The hit against Johnson drew a 15 yard penalty and ejection for Brown’s safety Damarious Randall.
