Steelers’ James Conner inactive Week 13 vs. Browns

With a doubtful status, there was very little hope Conner would see the field against Cleveland

The Pittsburgh Steelers have released their inactives for their game against the Cleveland Browns at Heinz Field. With one players previously ruled out and another doubtful, the list is made up of four healthy scratches and three players out due to injury.

Wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster had previously been ruled out on Friday as he is recovering from a knee injury sustained against the Browns in Week 11. James Conner reaggravated his shoulder injury in Week 11 but was able to pracice in a limited fashion on Thursday and Friday. Listed as doubtful, Conner will get another week to rest his shoulder as he is inactive. The other player injured who is not active for the Steelers in Week 13 is CB Artie Burns who is dealing with a knee injury. Burns was questionable after practicing fully on Friday.

As for the rest of the inactive list, third-string quarterback Paxton Lynch is inactive yet again. While Mason Rudolph was demoted from the starting quarterback position in favor of Devlin Hodges, he is still active as the backup. The other players filling up the inactive list are TE Zach Gentry, OT Chukwuma Okorafor, and LB Tuzar Skipper.
