Tight end Vance McDonald is in the NFL’s concussion protocol after leaving last Sunday’s game in the second half and was unable to practice on Wednesday. Returning to limited action on Thursday, McDonald’s response to Thursday’s activities will go a long way in his progression through the concussion protocol.
The players who did not practice on Wednesday were due to a coaches decision all returned Thursday. Mark Barron, Maurkice Pouncey, David DeCastro, and Alejandro Villanueva. were all full participants. The only player out due to a coaches decision was guard Ramon Foster who was given his typical Thursday off.
