After Week 14 of the NFL season, the Pittsburgh Steelers are still sitting in the AFC wildcard seat in the sixth positions as they hold the tiebreaker over the Tennessee Titans who are both sitting at 8-5. With Titans and the Houston Texans playing in Week 15 wnd the winner grabbing the the AFC South lead, the Steelers can really open up some space in the wildcard race with a win over the Buffalo Bills. In fact, a Steelers win Sunday night puts them into the fifth seed regardless of any other outcomes around the NFL.
As for the other standings around the league, The Baltimore Ravens have already picked up their 12th win of the season on Thursday night to lead the AFC by a game and a half over the New England Patriots. In the NFC, the 49ers are looking for their 12th win of the season against the Falcons. Even with the best record in the NFC, the 49ers only have a one game lead in their own division over the Seattle Seahawks.
For the 2019 NFL season, both Jeff Hartman and myself will be picking every game (except Thursdays) against the spread and the over/under point totals. Please remember we are not experts on betting or any kind of sports gamblers. We are just a couple of Steelers’ fans saying who we think will come through each week.
Last week, Both Jeff and I hovered right around .500 in both categories with each of us getting a one game victory over the other. I had the advantage in picking games against the spread at 7-6-2 while Jeff was a game behind at 6-7-2. Jeff held the advantage in the over/under at 8-7 while I was just behind at 7-8. On the season, we are each above .500 in both categories while Jeff was the first person to pick 100 games correctly in the over/under category.
So here are the picks for the 15 games this Sunday and Monday for Week 15 of the NFL season. Please feel free to list your choices in the comment section below and play along!
