AFC North Recap: Steelers stumble into Week 16 after losing to the Bills

New, comments

The Baltimore Ravens were the only winners in the AFC North in Week 15.

NFL: Buffalo Bills at Pittsburgh Steelers Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

Week 15 of NFL football is behind us, and it was quite the week in the AFC North division. With that said, it is time to see how the Baltimore Ravens, Pittsburgh Steelers, Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Browns all did in the week that was.

Time to take a look...

Baltimore Ravens - 42
New York Jets - 21

The Ravens continued to win on Thursday Night Football as they dismantled the New York Jets on prime time. Not that there was any doubt about the outcome of this game, but Baltimore took care of business and look to lock up the No. 1 seed in the AFC Playoffs with a win next week over one of the two teams to give them a loss this season — Cleveland.

Arizona Cardinals - 38
Cleveland Browns - 24

Arizona can be a dangerous team, just ask the Steelers. The Cardinals hung 38 points on Cleveland, and their 8th loss means for another season the Browns will go without a winning season. At this point you have to wonder if players like Jarvis Landry and Odell Beckham Jr. will want out, or if Freddie Kitchens will be a one-and-done as a head coach.

New England Patriots - 34
Cincinnati Bengals - 13

If there was a lock of the week it had to be the Patriots beating the Bengals. Coming off a loss to the Chiefs in Week 14, you knew the Patriots weren’t going to drop the game against the lowly Bengals. The Bengals race for the top pick in the 2020 NFL Draft is just heating up.

Buffalo Bills - 17
Pittsburgh Steelers - 10

One of the biggest games of the season, on prime time, and the Steelers laid an egg in those awesome Color Rush uniforms. 5 turnovers will do that to you, and now the Steelers have to turn their attention to winning their next two games to ensure they get into the playoffs. A slip up would mean they have to do some scoreboard watching.
