The Pittsburgh Steelers need to win and hope for help to make the AFC Playoffs this season. They will have to do so against the Baltimore Ravens, the NFL’s best team, and it looks like they will get more help from John Harbaugh’s crew than originally anticipated.
Since Harbaugh met with media on Monday, there were a list of names who he declared as OUT for the game Sunday at 4:25 p.m. ET. The names were:
QB Lamar Jackson
OG Marshall Yanda
S Earl Thomas
RB Melvin Ingram
DT Brandon Williams
Just with those names not playing got Steelers fans excited about their chances of pulling out the win on the road against backups. However, news Sunday morning from Jamison Hensley of ESPN states the Ravens are expecting to rest several other starters as well as the aforementioned players.

CBs Marcus Peters and Jimmy Smith and OT Ronnie Stanley likely will see little to no action
Not having Mark Andrews and Marquise Brown is certainly a big deal, and if Hensley’s prediction of Marcus Peters, Jimmy Smith and Ronnie Stanley barely playing is true, it should only make life easier on the Steelers who can help their cause by winning their game.
Steelers fans know how they lost control of their playoff destiny with their Week 16 loss to the New York Jets, but the easiest path for them to get into the playoffs is for them to beat the Ravens, and the Houston Texans to beat the Tennessee Titans.
Get your popcorn ready, today could be a crazy day...
