The Pittsburgh Steelers had their first practice of Week 14 as they prepare to take on the Arizona Cardinals in Glendale this coming Sunday. According to the Steelers PR Department, there were three players who did not participate in practice on Wednesday.
Wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster has yet to practice since Week 11 with a knee injury. Smith-Schuster was unable to practice again on Wednesday, but did at least begin running on his injured knee for the first time since the injury.

James Conner is still dealing with the shoulder injury he reaggravated in Week 11. Practicing in a limited capacity the end of last week, it’s still unclear if Conner’s shoulder is ready to handle contact. He was limited once again on Wednesday.
Cornerback Artie Burns is another player who has not played in two weeks due to an injury with a knee. Burns was a full participant in practice and was not even listed on the injury report.
The other two players who did not practice on Wednesday were due to a coaches decision. Vance McDonald and Mark Barron have been given Wednesdays off most weeks in 2019. Maurkice Pouncey is another player usually given the day off on Wednesdays, but since he just returned from his two-game suspension he was a full participant in practice.
The only other player listed on the injury report is wide receivers Diontae Johnson who was limited due to illness.
As for the Arizona Cardinals injury report, it can be seen below courtesy of Steelers.com. Since the Cardinals are in the Mountain Time Zone, injury reports will not be due until later in the day.
