Steelers Podcast: Why for the Pittsburgh Steelers, silence really is golden

In a brand new show titled ‘Yeah, I said it’, we talk about some burning topics surrounding the Pittsburgh Steelers.

There is a saying, and a song, which proclaims ‘Silence is golden’. If you think about it, this could certainly pertain to the 2019 Pittsburgh Steelers and their ongoing saga with All-Pro wide receiver Antonio Brown.

It seems with each passing day, Brown is pounding the social media pavement in hopes of bringing more attention to himself in some way, shape or form. The problem is with each passing day he seems to be deflating his trade value at the same time.

Enough of the Instagram Live videos talking about how everyone should call him Mr. Big Chest. Enough of the tweets calling out his coach/teammates. Enough of everything!

Silence, in this case, would certainly be golden.

This is where the newest BTSC podcast “Yeah, I Said It” comes in. My co-host on ‘The Standard is the Standard’, Lance Williams, talks about how the Steelers, and mainly Antonio Brown, would be better suited to simply keep their mouths shut.

Period.

Lance is the perfect man for the job, and delivers the goods in the latest show.
