Watch Kevin Colbert’s full NFL Network interview where he talks Steelers’ leadership

Kevin Colbert was on the NFL Network recently and did some clarifying on his comments made previously during a media session in Pittsburgh.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have been a team under the microscope all season, and this trend has continued into the offseason as well. Most recently, Steelers General Manager Kevin Colbert was under siege for comments he made regarding Ben Roethlisberger not just being the predominant leader of the Steelers, but how he has ‘52 kids’ under him.

This caused the mainstream media and pundits to go off about how these ‘kids’ are grown men and shouldn’t be viewed as children, but what was missed throughout the mug and the mire were some very important information from the team’s GM.

Colbert went into detail on his views on Roethlisberger being the leader, clarified his comments, talked about how Roethlisberger might be held to a different standard, potential trade options for Antonio Brown and much more.

If you are like me, you didn’t get to see this interview air live, and had to search for it to see exactly what was said, how it was said, and what can be drawn from Colbert’s session. Luckily for us here at BTSC, our own Simon Chester was able to rip the interview on his Twitter account.

So, check out the full 7-minute interview below, and feel free to talk about the different aspects of the spot in the comment section below.
