Compiling statistics can take hours upon hours in order to find the proper numbers. To save you the trouble, here are some of the best statistics about the Steelers published during this past week.
I will begin with a few statistics of my own before going on to other various Steeler sources. Feel free to follow me on Twitter @STLRSuperFanDad in order to get some of BTSC’s geekiest stats.
With his Week-12 touchdown catch in Denver, Alejandro Villanueva was the tallest player (6’ 9”) to score an NFL TD since Morris Stroud (6’ 10”) of the Kansas City Chiefs in 1974.

In 2018, the Steelers had 2 tight ends who had over 14 yards/reception (minimum 5 receptions): Xavier Grimble (14.33) and Jesse James (14.10). It was the first time since 1979 with Randy Grossman (18.08) and Bennie Cunningham (14.22).

2018 was the first NFL season where 2 different sets of teammates had 100+ receptions: @steelers (Brown & Smith-Schuster) and @Vikings (Thielen & Diggs). Both teams finished 0.5 games out of the playoffs.
