Friday Night Steelers Six Pack of questions and open thread: Offseason Edition, Vol. 11

There is plenty to talk about regarding all things black-and-gold!

NFL: Cleveland Browns at Pittsburgh Steelers Jeffrey Becker-USA TODAY Sports

Several people have asked if we could bring back the Friday Night Open Thread. I had moved the event to Saturday morning, but after minimal success, I decided to bring it back to Friday night — with a slight twist.

I liked the Saturday Six-Pack theme, so I decided to just take the six questions and move them to Friday night. Say hello to Friday Night Six-Pack of Steelers Questions and open thread!

The rules haven’t changed...

Quick rundown of the ground rules.

  • I’ll ask at least four questions strictly related to the Steelers.
  • The rest of the questions could be about anything.
  • Be respectful.
  • Have fun talking about the Black-and-gold.

That’s it! With that out of the way, it’s time to get this party started. Hey, don’t act like you’ve never done a little Friday night drinking. Here goes:

1. Okay, the last time we did this article Antonio Brown was still technically a member of the Steelers. He is gone, but how do you view the trade? Pick one option, and explain your answer:

A.) Hated it, Steelers got fleeced
B.) Let’s see what the team does in the NFL Draft with the picks
C.) Who cares, the dude is finally gone

2. I spoke about this on my Steelers Burning Question podcast (you can listen to it below), so I thought I would ask here: Which player will the Steelers miss more in the short term? Le’Veon Bell or Brown?

3. What kind of draft package would you put together to move up into a position to guarantee your shot at one of the ‘Devins’, likely Devin Bush?

4. Last week I asked who was your favorite kicker was in team history. This week I’m going to go with who is your favorite safety in team history not named Polamalu or Shell?

5. If you had to pick one, who would you pick? Darren Perry or Ryan Clark?

6. Ben Roethlisberger has been criticized heavily the past few months. What is your view of Big Ben, and his role in the Steelers’ drama?

No matter what, always remember...
