Compiling statistics can take hours upon hours in order to find the proper numbers. To save you the trouble, here are some of the best statistics about the Steelers published during this past few weeks.
Since I’ve been on vacation, I will begin with just a couple of statistics of my own before going on to plenty of other various Steeler sources. Feel free to follow me on Twitter @STLRSuperFanDad in order to get some of BTSC’s geekiest stats.
Ben Roethlisberger is currently on a 45-game “availability” streak (available to play; not injured or suspended). His last unavailable game was Week 7 of 2016 v. the Patriots (injury). His only longer streak was 61 games from 2006-2009.

With 8.0 sacks in 2018, @CamHeyward moved into 2nd place all time (45.0) by a @steelers defensive lineman (since 1982 when sacks began as an official individual stat), passing Aaron Smith (44.0). He now only trails Keith Willis (59).

The #Steelers offensive line is the only in the #NFL to have held opponents to the fifth or fewest sacks allowed in each of the previous three seasons:

2017: T-3rd (24)

Only New Orleans has allowed fewer sacks (67) in the 2016-2018 three-year span.
