Antonio Brown claims ‘AB might be somewhere in less than 24 hours’

A claim supported by a report from Steelers beat writer Gerry Dulac moments later that indicated a trade was imminent once again.

It would be more than understandable if Pittsburgh Steelers fans were tired of hearing about reports of an imminent trade of Antonio Brown, but the law of averages suggests one them has to be accurate eventually.

The latest update comes from AB himself after he posted a video on Instagram on Friday night that indicated news of a trade would soon be forthcoming.

“Don’t believe what they say about fake news, you heard? I’m telling you, but stay tuned though, AB might be somewhere in less than 24 hours.”

Calling out Ian Rapoport for his fake news about trade to the Buffalo Bills on Thursday night, Brown appeared confident he would have a new home soon enough, this despite rumors in the media earlier in the day suggesting the market for him had died over the last 24 hours.

Those paying attention until the end of the video above might have heard a possible insight regarding the team Brown will be joining from one of his friends talking in the background. As can be heard.

“Got the black and grey on already.”

With the Oakland Raiders the team that Brown has reportedly been telling people he thinks he will be traded to , the chances of a deal with the Raiders clearly remains an option. They are also one of the few teams yet to have ruled themselves out of the running publicly.

While it would be easy to dismiss this video as another in a long line of false promises from Brown, a report from Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette just moments later implied there might at least be some truth to the receiver’s claims.

In light of all the erroneous reports that have been filed about Brown in the past weeks, it seems unwise to get too excited about this latest information, but we still have our fingers crossed that the Raiders will step up to the plate this weekend.

Another post on Brown's Instagram page adds further support to his suggestion that a deal might soon be revealed after he shared a photograph of his agent Drew Rosenhaus and his brother apparently at work in his house in Miami.
