If you could have a do-over for a Steelers 1st round draft pick, who would it be?

If you could go back and get a do-over, what Steelers first round pick would be changed?

NFL: Cleveland Browns at Pittsburgh Steelers Jeffrey Becker-USA TODAY Sports

The Masters golf tournament is currently underway, and in light of the sport where players get the most mulligans, or “do-overs”, it seemed only right to bring the conversation of do-overs to the Pittsburgh Steelers fan base.

ESPN recently went through first round picks of all 32 teams and picked one which they would want a do-over for. Here is what they came up with for the black-and-gold:

First round of 2016 draft (No. 25 overall)

Actual pick: Artie Burns, CB, Miami

Do-over pick: Xavien Howard, CB, Baylor

The Steelers scoured the earth for cornerbacks in 2016. They really liked William Jackson, who went No. 24 overall. So the Steelers zoned in on Burns, who showed flashes in his first two seasons but got benched in Year 3. Howard, a Pro Bowler in Miami, would have become a staple at outside corner opposite Joe Haden to solidify the Steelers’ pass defense.

After reading the small paragraph on Artie Burns, it made me wonder if there was another pick the fan base would want back. To make this simpler, I went back and focused on just the Kevin Colbert era (2000-current) to look at all of his first round draft picks.

I listed them below, but of all the players who were given the tag of 1st round draft pick, which do you want to have a do-over on? Would it be Jarvis Jones? How about the aforementioned Burns? Maybe you would have picked someone else instead of Ziggy Hood back in 2009. Let us know what pick you would want a mulligan on, and if you want to dig up the results from that draft, feel free to let us know who you would have wanted instead, who was also available.
