The Pittsburgh Steelers have had a rough go of things since the 2017 playoffs. Since that AFC Divisional Round loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Steelers have experienced more than the average amount of drama when it comes to NFL teams.

A lot has changed since that playoff loss.

Gone is Le’Veon Bell.

Antonio Brown is a member of the Raiders.

And the Steelers missed the postseason in 2018.

Sure, there were a lot of other events which took place in between those bullet points, but the Steelers need to get back to square one. Square one being a team which lacks the ego and focuses on their true identity. A need to get back to the grind it out style while keeping their mouths shut in the process.

The leader of his effort very well might just be the player who has been the team’s defensive captain the past two seasons. None other than one Cameron Heyward.

Heyward epitomizes the no-nonsense approach the fan base desires. But don’t think there isn’t a ridiculous amount of excitement for the 2019 season for those who still call the Steelers home. A chance to put the past in the past, and move forward with a fervor not seen since the team’s last trip to the Super Bowl.

To get his teammates, and the team’s fans, ready for the upcoming season Heyward released this hype video on his social media platforms. I can’t speak for everyone reading this and watching the video, but it sure got me jacked up for some football!
