The Pittsburgh Steelers are back to work at the Rooney UPMC Practice Facility, and they are entering what I love to call the “tease phase” of offseason workouts. You know, they are playing football, but are not really playing football.

Football in shorts, as Mike Tomlin calls it.

But I’d rather talk about football in shorts, than no football at all. So as the Steelers began their Organized Team Activities (OTAs) Tuesday, many are wondering just how you can gauge success during these sessions.

It really is simple, and the answer can be as easy as 1, 2, 3...
