The Pittsburgh Steelers organization is reeling after the stunning news of wide receivers coach Darryl Drake’s passing Sunday morning. In what should have been a practice day for the black-and-gold, the team cancelled practice and Saint Vincent College campus to allow for players and coaches to deal with the loss of a beloved coach.
In the hours after, the team decided to make another change to the weekly practice schedule, which could impact anyone who was thinking of heading to Latrobe, PA to catch a glimpse of the Steelers up-close-and-personal.
Heading into this week the Steelers were schedule to practice Sunday and Monday, with an off day Tuesday. After the news of Drake’s passing the team has decided to take Monday off, and practice on Tuesday.
