This past offseason rumors swirled of Ben Roethlisberger putting an end to his weekly radio show with 93.7 The Fan in Pittsburgh. While that still has yet to be officially confirmed by anyone at 93.7 The Fan, or the Pittsburgh Steelers organization, The Fan announced today they are having a new radio show this season.
The James Conner Show.

The show will be on Mondays at 5:00 p.m. ET weekly as a part of ‘The PM Team with Poni & Mueller’, and the running back is excited for the opportunity.
“I’m thrilled to be able to connect with Steeler nation through 93.7 The Fan every week and share with listeners insights that they won’t hear anywhere else,” Conner told the radio station.
The station released the following statement:
“We are excited to welcome James to the 93.7 The Fan family this season,” said Michael Spacciapolli, Senior Vice President and Market Manager, Entercom Pittsburgh. ”James is one of the most beloved personalities in the region and we know he will bring unique insight and inspiration to the show.”
Conner, a Western, PA native and former University of Pittsburgh running back, will likely be less controversial compared to Roethlisberger, but will hopefully still give the fan base a look inside the locker room, the team and what his individual thoughts are about the team as they prepare for, and march through, the 2019 regular season.
While it looks as if Roethlisberger might be officially finished with his own radio show, The Fan is clearly preparing for a lineup without No. 7. Something many fans will be ecstatic about this season.
Stay tuned to BTSC for the latest news and notes surrounding the black and gold as they prepare for the Carolina Panthers tonight in Week 4 of the NFL Preseason.
