The Pittsburgh Steelers defense may have a completely different look this Sunday not just because of the addition of Minkah Fitzpatrick, but because of the number of players whose status for the game has yet to be determined. In the second injury report of Week 3 courtesy of the Steelers PR department, six players were either limited or did not practice on Thursday.

Roosevelt Nix what is the single offensive player who did not participate in practice on Thursday and is not expected to play in Week 3 and possibly beyond.
Joe Haden did not practice again on Thursday much like his participation in practice during Week 2. But according to Haden, the plan is still to play on Sunday just like last week against the Seahawks.
CB Joe Haden said his injured shoulder is feeling better than it did last week on Thursday. He did not practice again but said he could be out there Friday. He fully expects to play Sunday at San Francisco.

Other members of the defense who did not practice on Wednesday were Mark Barron (coaches decision), Vince Williams (hamstring), and Anthony Chickillo (foot). Bud Dupree was a new addition to the list as he was limited in practice with an ankle injury.
The good news for the offense was both James Conner and Vance McDonald were full participants in Thursday’s practice. With Mason Rudolph making his first NFL start, having a full complement of weapons will be most beneficial to the second-year player.
Since their opponent plays in the Pacific Time Zone, the Steelers are not required to release their injury report until both teams are ready. For this reason, Steelers’ fans are left waiting late into the evening to see who was able to practice for both teams.
As for the 49ers’ injury report, according to Steelers.com, RB Tevin Coleman, DT Dee Ford, and T Joe Staley did not practice for the second straight day.
