The Pittsburgh Steelers have released their inactive list against the Cincinnati Bengals. As expected, TE Vance McDonald is out due to a shoulder injury.
The inactives for the #Steelers: FB Rosie Nix, OLB Anthony Chickillo, G Fred Johnson, T Chuks Okorafor, TE Vance McDonald, DE Isaiah Buggs, ILB Vince Williams

Carrying a doubtful designation after failing to practice all week, McDonald was a long shot to suit up on Monday night. With Xavier Grimble placed on Injured Reserve earlier in the week, the only healthy tight ends for the Steelers are rookie Zach Gentry and newly-acquired Nick Vannett. While many feel McDonald’s availability has always been a concern, it is the first game he has missed since Week 1 of the 2018 season.
Roosevelt Nix, Vince Williams, and Anthony Chickillo were three inactives already announced on Saturday. Nix will be missing his third consecutive game with a knee injury suffered in Week 1. Both Williams and Chickillo are missing their second straight game.
Joining these four players on the inactive list are several of the usual suspects. Not getting a helmet for Week 4 are rookies DL Isaiah Buggs, and G Fred Johnson. Second-year OT Chukwuma Okorafor is once again is on the inactive list. OLB Jayrone Elliott was questionable heading into the game but is active for the second straight week.
WR Donte Moncrief is active against the Bengals after being set down as a healthy scratch in Week 3. With only two tight ends active, carrying an extra receiver will be aide Mason Rudolph as he makes his first start at Heinz Field.
As for the Bengals, their inactives can be seen below courtesy of Steelers.com. WR A.J. Green had previously been ruled out earlier in the week while DE Carl Lawson was listed as doubtful.
