It’s finally football that counts. Week 1 of the NFL season is here as the Pittsburgh Steelers travel to Foxborough on Sunday night to take on Tom Brady, Bill Belichick, and the rest of the New England Patriots. Even though he Patriots will be raising their Super Bowl banner, it’s a brand new season with both teams entering 0-0.
This will be the first chance for Steelers fans to see all of the new additions to the roster for an extended period of time. The only Steeler is danger of not being able to suit up for the game is safety Sean Davis who is nursing an ankle injury. If he is unable to go, Mike Hilton and Kam Kelly look to fill the void in the secondary.
There are many questions surrounding the Steelers 2019 season. Will their young receivers such as JuJu Smith-Schuster, James Washington, and Diontae Johnson all help fill the void from the loss of Antonio Brown? How will Devin Bush adjust to the NFL? Can new additions Steven Nelson, Mark Barron, and Donte Moncrief help get the Steelers their seventh Lombardi Trophy?
While this Sunday will give a starting point, all of these questions will be answered throughout the season. Get all the information you need so you can enjoy the Week 1 showdown below:
