NFL Odds and Predictions: Picking the Conference Championship games against the spread

BTSC’s Jeff Hartman and Dave Schofield pick this weekend’s NFL playoff games both against the spread and over/under point totals

It’s a sad Sunday in the NFL. It will be the last time in the 2019 season in which multiple NFL games will be played on the same day. Rather than mourn the near end of another season, it will be one last Sunday of six hours of football which hopefully brings some quality television. It will also be a nice change to not have to passionately root against that team from up north.

For the 2019 NFL regular season and postseason, both Jeff Hartman and myself will be picking every game against the spread and the over/under point totals. Please remember we are not experts on betting or any kind of sports gamblers. We are just a couple of Steelers’ fans saying who we think will come through each week.

Jeff and I entered the week fairly close in both categories with each of us holding a lead in one. I had a two-game lead picking against the spread going into the divisional games, and with us having identical selections nothing changed as we both went 2-2.. Jeff held a large five-game advantage in the over/under after last weekend but I cut into the lead by going 3-1 while Jeff went 1-3. On the season, I am still up by two games against the spread while Jeff is up three games in the over/under category. Most importantly, we will both finish at least .500 in both categories even if we miss all the remaining picks.

So here are the picks for the Sunday games for Conference Championship Weekend of the NFL season. Please feel free to list your choices in the comment section below and play along!

All selections are based off of the consensus data from oddsshark.com as of Saturday night.
