The Pittsburgh Steelers are in an AFC North battle against the Baltimore Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium. With both teams dealing with some injuries early on, the Steelers starting nose tackle Tyson Alualu is dealing with a knee injury and is doubtful to return.

Alualu is coming off of a game and where he played a season high 34 snaps for the Steelers defense in Week 7 against the Tennessee Titans. Typically, Alualu is on the field less than 50% of the snaps when the Steelers use nickel and dime packages on their defense.

On the season, Alualu has had 16 tackles, one sack, three tackles for loss, three quarterback hits, and three passes defensed. Alualu was the second-highest rated interior defensive lineman in the NFL coming into Week 8 only behind the Los Angeles RamsAaron Donald.

Early on, second-year player Isaiah Buggs has taken the snaps at nose tackle for the Steelers.

The Ravens have suffered two injuries to their starting offensive line including starting left tackle Ronnie Stanley who was taken off the field on the cart late in the first quarter.
